The Wayland Montessori School is accredited by Association Montessori International (AMI), founded by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1929. Wayland Montessori continues to serve preschool children ages two years, 9 months through age six in the Wayland area since 1974. We provide a demonstration of the Montessori Method in its truest form. We are dedicated to providing an enriching educational environment where each child is encouraged to grow to his or her fullest potential academically, emotionally and socially.
Both of my children left Wayland Montessori reading, writing and loving learning which may be the most important trait they were taught. I have independent, confident children who love to go to school. My husband and I appreciated the diversity of both the students and teachers at Wayland Montessori. My son benefited from having a man in the classroom as a role model and teacher. The ownership and teachers at Wayland Montessori are professional, flexible and passionate about learning. I would recommend the school to any child and parent. – Angela Zachery
Claire and Sophie have found at Wayland Montessori a nurturing and caring environment which has allowed them to truly blossom in a short amount of time. They love to go to school, they enjoy learning about letters and numbers, and best of all, they are happy little girls. – Simon Delagrave
Our family has loved being a part of The Wayland Montessori School for years and hopefully will enjoy more years to come. And I say the family because Wayland Montessori brings each of us into the Montessori experience with strong communication and fulfilling celebrations. My daughters have learned a world of experience and every day I see them growing into thoughtful individuals, all thanks to the amazing and attentive teachers. We have found the curriculum is heavily focused on academics, but every day there is opportunity for my girls to explore any curiosity they may have whether it be conversing with peers over snack, making a mess and cleaning it up, or helping others in the classroom. We’re so happy with everything at Wayland Montessori and best of all, we are confident our children are prepared for lifelong learning. – Vickie and Trevor Lai
These words reveal the child’s inner needs: “Help me do it alone.”
